Evangelion Store Tokyo-01: Where It Is in Ikebukuro, What to Expect, and What Else Is in the Building

EVANGELION STORE TOKYO-01, the flagship of the official Evangelion stores, is on the 6th floor of Ikebukuro PARCO's main building, 1-28-2 Minami-Ikebukuro, one minute from Ikebukuro Station's east exit. It moved there from P'PARCO in March 2023, is tax-free, and runs monthly events and collaborations. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is where I send Eva fans for the official side.

The same building also has a Jump Shop and a Chiikawa Land, so one trip to Ikebukuro PARCO covers several fandoms.

Where is the Evangelion Store in Tokyo?

On the 6th floor of Ikebukuro PARCO's main building, 1-28-2 Minami-Ikebukuro, Toshima. The official store page gives the walk as one minute from Ikebukuro Station's east exit. It is the chain's flagship, with the full range of Evangelion items.

It is not in Akihabara, although Akihabara's secondhand shops carry plenty of Eva figures; my Akihabara anime tour covers that side, and where to buy anime figures in Akihabara explains how to hunt older pieces.

What does the Evangelion Store sell?

The official page describes it as the place where all Evangelion items are gathered: apparel, figures and goods, with events and brand collaborations changing month by month. It is the official store, so expect current and store-original items rather than secondhand rarities.

What else is in Ikebukuro PARCO?

A Jump Shop on the main building's B2F and a Chiikawa Land, which opened in April 2026. Both are listed on their operators' official store lists at Ikebukuro PARCO. With the Evangelion Store on 6F, the building is an easy three-fandom stop next to the station.

Ikebukuro's east side has more within walking distance: Otome Road, Sunshine City and the free Anime Tokyo Station. Otome Road, Ikebukuro and Anime Tokyo Station cover those. For the chains' other branches, see Jump Shop Tokyo.

Is the Evangelion Store worth visiting?

For an Eva fan, yes: it is the flagship, and the store-original items and monthly collaborations are the point. For a casual fan, it is one floor of one series, so pair it with the rest of Ikebukuro rather than making a special trip.

This is the honest section. Official stores sell what is current; if you are after an out-of-print figure from years ago, the secondhand floors in Akihabara and Nakano are the better bet, and you will pay collector prices for the rare pieces either way.

Can tourists shop tax-free?

Yes; the official store page lists tax-free service. Bring your passport and spend ¥5,000 or more before tax in one shop on one day. From 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport.

Tax-free shopping in Japan after November 2026 has the new process.
