Capcom Store Tokyo: The Shibuya and Ikebukuro Shops, and the Capcom Cafe
Capcom has two official stores in Tokyo: CAPCOM STORE TOKYO on the 6th floor of Shibuya PARCO, and CAPCOM STORE IKEBUKURO on B2 of Ikebukuro PARCO's main building. Both are Capcom's own shops for Monster Hunter, Resident Evil and Street Fighter goods, with many items sold only there. Capcom also runs Capcom Cafe Ikebukuro, which starts an Ace Attorney 25th-anniversary collaboration on 9 October 2026. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is where I send guests who are game fans first.
Capcom calls these "antenna shops", its own showcase stores, and says many goods are sold only there, with new items arriving regularly.
Where are the Capcom stores in Tokyo?
CAPCOM STORE TOKYO is at Shibuya PARCO 6F, 15-1 Udagawachō, Shibuya. CAPCOM STORE IKEBUKURO is at Ikebukuro PARCO main building B2F, 1-28-2 Minami-Ikebukuro. Other Japanese Capcom Stores are in Yokohama's Minatomirai, Osaka, Umeda, Kobe and Sendai.
| Store (official) | Where | Nearby |
|---|---|---|
| CAPCOM STORE TOKYO | Shibuya PARCO 6F, 15-1 Udagawachō, Shibuya | Nintendo TOKYO and Pokémon Center Shibuya on the same floor |
| CAPCOM STORE IKEBUKURO | Ikebukuro PARCO main building B2F, 1-28-2 Minami-Ikebukuro | Ikebukuro's anime shops on the east side |
| Capcom Cafe Ikebukuro | Grandscape Ikebukuro 3F, 1-30-3 Higashi-Ikebukuro | 10 min from Ikebukuro Station east exit |
Shibuya is the easier pick for most visitors, because the same PARCO floor has Nintendo TOKYO and Pokémon Center Shibuya; Pokémon Center Tokyo has the Pokémon side. For game shops in Akihabara, my Akihabara anime tour covers the retro floors.
What can you buy at the Capcom Store?
Official goods from Capcom's series, especially Monster Hunter, Resident Evil and Street Fighter. Recent releases listed on the official page include a "Capkoron" mascot plush of Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil Requiem (1 October 2026), Biohazard 30th-anniversary goods, and a "Shigoto Neko × Capcom Characters" collaboration.
| Recent news (official, 2026) | What it is |
|---|---|
| 1 Oct | Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil Requiem) joins the Capkoron mascot plush series |
| 25 Sep | Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak smart pachislot machine display and sticker campaign at three Capcom Stores |
| 10 Sep | "Shigoto Neko × Capcom Characters" goods return |
| Ongoing | Biohazard 30th Anniversary notebooks, tea goods and more |
Capcom asks you to contact each shop directly about stock, because not every item is in every store. Biohazard is the Japanese name for Resident Evil, so look for that word on labels.
What is the Capcom Cafe in Ikebukuro?
Capcom's character café, which runs one series at a time with themed food and café-only goods. From 9 October to 26 November 2026 it runs an Ace Attorney 25th-anniversary collaboration. It takes both reservations and walk-ins, with a last entry for each. It is at Grandscape Ikebukuro 3F, ten minutes from Ikebukuro's east exit.
This is the honest section. Collab cafés are popular in their first weeks, so book if you can; Capcom links reservations from the café page and posts updates on its X account. For how Tokyo's character cafés work in general, see anime collab cafés in Tokyo. Ikebukuro's other stops are in Otome Road, Ikebukuro and Anime Tokyo Station.
Is the Capcom Store worth visiting?
If you love a Capcom series, yes, because store-exclusive items are the point. If you want game goods across many companies, Akihabara's shops and Shibuya PARCO's 6th floor give you more in one trip.
If you shop tax-free, from 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport; tax-free shopping in Japan after November 2026 explains. For older Capcom games and retro hardware, Akihabara retro game stores has the shops.
