Ultraman Store Tokyo: The Four Official Shops, From Tokyo Station to the New One in Ikebukuro

Tokyo has four official Ultraman shops. Ultraman World M78 has branches inside Tokyo Character Street at Tokyo Station and on the 4th floor of Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi. ULTRA MART TOKYO, run directly by Tsuburaya Productions, is in Harajuku and takes card and other cashless payment only. The new ULTRAMAN STORE TOKYO opens on B2 of Ikebukuro PARCO's main building on 9 October 2026. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is the list I give tokusatsu fans.

2026 is the Ultraman series' 60th anniversary, and Tsuburaya's online store has a 60th-anniversary collection.

Where are the Ultraman stores in Tokyo?

From Tsuburaya Productions' official shop list: Ultraman World M78 Tokyo Station, at Tokyo Station Ichibangai B1F inside Tokyo Character Street; Ultraman World M78 Solamachi, at Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi 4F; ULTRA MART TOKYO, at 1-14-24 Jingūmae in Harajuku; and ULTRAMAN STORE TOKYO, at Ikebukuro PARCO main building B2F from 9 October 2026.

Tokyo Station is the easiest for most visitors; Tokyo Character Street lists the other shops in the same arcade, including Kamen Rider Store Tokyo. For figures in Akihabara, my Akihabara anime tour covers the collector floors.

What is the new ULTRAMAN STORE in Ikebukuro?

A new official shop, opening on 9 October 2026, with limited and original goods plus two features: the "Ultra Fight Window", a video display in which heroes and kaiju battle beyond windows set inside the shop, and the "Ultra Heroes Gallery", a video gallery of the heroes. Tsuburaya says entry rules and limited items will be announced later.

An Osaka branch, in LUCUA South, is due in November 2026. If you are visiting Ikebukuro in the first weeks after opening, check the official page for any entry system before you go. Ikebukuro's other stops are in Otome Road, Ikebukuro and Anime Tokyo Station.

What should you know about ULTRA MART TOKYO in Harajuku?

It is cashless only: credit cards, e-money and QR payments, with no cash and no top-ups in store. Some store-limited goods have been sold by lottery through a LINE digital ticket; since September 2026 that lottery requires a face photo, and staff may ask for photo ID. You can enter without a ticket, though entry may be limited when busy.

This is the honest section. The lottery system needs a LINE account and a phone that works on the day, which is a hurdle for short trips. Recent news says some lottery items have moved to normal sale, with a limit per person. The shop also asks visitors not to arrive before opening or wait for long nearby. If you only want Ultraman goods, the M78 shops at Tokyo Station and Solamachi are simpler.

Is there anything else for Ultraman fans in Tokyo?

Bandai Spirits' TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Akihabara is running a live-action figure expo until 26 October 2026, including S.H.Figuarts for Ultraman's 60th anniversary. Tsuburaya also runs an online store, Tsuburaya Store ONLINE.

For older, secondhand Ultraman figures, Akihabara's collector shops are the place; where to buy anime figures in Akihabara explains them. If you shop tax-free, from 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport.
