One Piece Store Tokyo: Where All Five Mugiwara Stores Are, and Which One to Visit
The official ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store has five shops in Tokyo: the main store in Shibuya, on the 6th floor of MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 by the scramble crossing; Ikebukuro, in Sunshine City; Odaiba, in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza; Tokyo Station, on Tokyo Character Street; and HARAJUKU, in Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado". There is no Mugiwara Store in Akihabara. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and One Piece fans ask about this more than any other single store.
Every store on the official list sells official One Piece goods; the differences are location, size and what else is in the building. Pick the one that fits the day you already have.
Where are the Mugiwara Stores in Tokyo?
Five on the official store list for the Kantō region, all in Tokyo. Shibuya is the main store. The Tokyo Station branch is the easiest from Akihabara, two stops away on the JR Yamanote line. Ikebukuro and Odaiba share buildings with other big anime stores.
From the official store list, checked on 4 October 2026:
| Store | Where | Getting there (official) | Also in the building |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shibuya (main store) | MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 6F, 1-23-10 Jinnan | 0 min from the scramble crossing; 1 min from JR's Hachikō gate; direct from exit A12 | Tax-free counter in the building |
| HARAJUKU | Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado" GF | 1 min from Meiji-jingūmae; 4 min from JR Harajuku | Tax-free counter in the building |
| Ikebukuro | Sunshine City, Alpa 2F | — | Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, also Alpa 2F |
| Odaiba | DiverCity Tokyo Plaza 2F | — | The Gundam Base Tokyo, 7F |
| Tokyo Station | Tokyo Station Ichibangai B1, Tokyo Character Street | — | 30+ character shops on the same street |
If your day is in Akihabara, the Tokyo Station branch is the natural add-on, and my Akihabara anime tour can end close to the JR line for it.
Which Mugiwara Store is the best?
Shibuya, if you want the main store and its events; it is running a giant Thousand Sunny capsule draw from 4 to 25 October 2026. Tokyo Station, if you are passing through. Ikebukuro, if you are also going to Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo on the same floor. Odaiba, if you are visiting the Gundam Base.
This is the honest section. The stores share most of their range, and new figures are often released across several branches at once. For a short trip, do not cross Tokyo for a different branch; visit the one next to something else you want. The Shibuya store warns that it may limit entry or hand out numbered tickets when it is busy, so go early on weekends.
Is there a One Piece store in Akihabara?
Not an official Mugiwara Store; the official list has none. Akihabara does sell plenty of One Piece goods: animate's Jump floor, Jump series figures in the secondhand shops, and One Piece cards in the card shops. The closest official store is at Tokyo Station.
animate Akihabara puts its Jump series, including One Piece, on Building 1's 2nd floor; animate Akihabara has the floor guide. For out-of-print figures, where to buy anime figures in Akihabara is the guide, and for cards, Akihabara card shops.
Can tourists shop tax-free at the Mugiwara Store?
The official pages for the Shibuya and HARAJUKU stores mark them as tax-free, with a tax-free counter in the building. Shibuya lists cash, credit cards, transport IC cards and many QR payments including Alipay and WeChat Pay. From 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport.
Tax-free shopping in Japan after November 2026 explains the new process. For the other three stores, ask at the counter.
Is there a Mugiwara Store at Tokyo Skytree or Tokyo Tower?
Not on the official store list as of 4 October 2026. The five Tokyo stores are Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Odaiba, Tokyo Station and HARAJUKU. Search results that mention other Tokyo locations may be out of date; check the official list before planning around one.
If you are at Tokyo Skytree, the 4th floor of Solamachi has a Jump Shop, which carries One Piece goods among other Jump series; Jump Shop Tokyo lists every branch.
