Jump Festa 2027: Dates, How the Free Ticket Lottery Works, and What You Need Before You Apply
Jump Festa 2027, Shueisha's annual Shōnen Jump event, is on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December 2026 at Makuhari Messe, Halls 1 to 9 and 11, in Chiba. Entry is free but by invitation: everyone of primary-school age and up needs an electronic ticket in the Jump NAVI app, won in a lottery. The open draw runs from 2 November 10:00 to 16 November 17:59 (Japan time), with results around 9:30 on 24 November. Tickets for the main stage, the official shop and the original-art gallery are a second draw for winners. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is the Jump Festa timeline I give guests planning a December trip.
There are 48,000 places a day, 96,000 in total, split between a subscriber-only draw and the open draw.

How do you get Jump Festa 2027 tickets?
Install the Jump NAVI app and register (free), then enter a lottery. There are two entry draws: one for digital Jump subscribers and annual-reader card holders, and an open draw anyone can enter. Winners can then enter a second draw for stage, shop and gallery tickets.
| Draw (official) | Who | Application window (JST) | Results | Places |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ① Subscriber and reader-card draw | Digital subscribers (Jump+, Zebrack) or Jump Master Reader Card holders | 19 Oct 10:00 – 26 Oct 17:59 | 2 Nov, about 9:30 | 20,000 a day |
| ② Open entry draw | Anyone registered in Jump NAVI | 2 Nov 10:00 – 16 Nov 17:59 | 24 Nov, about 9:30 | 28,000 a day |
| Advance-lottery tickets | Winners of ① or ②, for the day they won | 24 Nov 10:00 – 30 Nov 17:59 | 11 Dec, about 9:30 | — |
Each application covers up to five people including the lead applicant, and you can apply once per day. Children under school age can enter without a ticket, one per adult aged 18 or over. The open draw gives better odds to higher Jump NAVI club stages.
What are the advance-lottery tickets?
Three separate tickets, only for people who already won entry: Jump Super Stage viewing (up to two programmes a day), purchase tickets for the JF official shop (morning slots only, with no guarantee you can buy a given item), and tickets for the special display in the original-art gallery at some times.
This is the honest section. Entry alone does not get you into the stage shows or the official shop; those are a second lottery. Everything runs through the Jump NAVI app on a smartphone: under the official rules, anyone of high-school age or older without a smartphone cannot attend, even as a companion. The lead applicant applies for the whole group, and companions cannot apply separately.
Can visitors from abroad go to Jump Festa?
The rules are the same for everyone: you need a Jump NAVI account, a smartphone with the app, and a winning ticket. The official site does not mention separate entry for overseas visitors, so plan as if you are entering the open draw from 2 to 16 November.
If you do not win, Tokyo's permanent Jump shops sell series goods all year; Jump Shop Tokyo lists them. If you shop tax-free on your trip, from 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport.
