Godzilla Store Tokyo: The Official Shops in Shinjuku, Odaiba and Shibuya, and Where Else to Buy Godzilla Goods

Toho, the studio behind Godzilla, runs three official Godzilla shops in Tokyo: Shinjuku, Odaiba and Shibuya. Godzilla Store Tokyo, which Toho calls the world's first official Godzilla shop, opened on 30 October 2017 on the 1st floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex, close to the "Godzilla Head" in Shinjuku. Godzilla Store Daiba, on the 5th floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, is the largest by floor area and has a two-metre Shin Godzilla statue. Godzilla Store Shibuya, Toho's fifth official shop in Japan, opened on 25 April 2025 on Shibuya PARCO's 6th floor, greeted by a roughly two-metre Burning Godzilla statue. All sell store-only items and the latest Godzilla and Toho tokusatsu goods. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is the list I give monster-movie fans.

In Akihabara itself, Toho lists Yodobashi Multimedia Akiba, Don Quijote Akihabara and AmiAmi in Radio Kaikan among its Godzilla stockists.

Where are the Godzilla stores in Tokyo?

Godzilla Store Tokyo is at Shinjuku Marui Annex 1F, 3-1-26 Shinjuku. Godzilla Store Daiba is at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza 5F, 1-1-10 Aomi. Godzilla Store Shibuya is at Shibuya PARCO 6F, 15-1 Udagawachō. Toho also lists official stores in Taipei and Malaysia, and an official online shop.

What can you buy at the Godzilla Store?

From Toho's own description of the Shinjuku store: items sold only there, the newest Godzilla and Toho special-effects goods, plus showcase exhibits and video. Toho's announcement of the Shibuya store highlighted the newly sculpted Burning Godzilla statue, which lights up with sound and music at intervals, many store-limited goods, a new "GODZILLA" apparel brand and a corner for the Godzilla the Art 70th-anniversary project.

This is the honest section. The stores overlap, so pick the one on your route rather than doing all three: Shinjuku for the Godzilla Head nearby, Odaiba for the biggest shop on a DiverCity day, Shibuya for a combined trip with the PARCO 6th floor; Odaiba anime stores covers the rest of Odaiba. Stock and release timing differ by shop, Toho says, so ask in store about a specific item.

Where can you buy Godzilla goods in Akihabara?

Toho's stockist list for Tokyo includes Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba, Don Quijote Akihabara and AmiAmi Akihabara Radio Kaikan, along with Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Ginza, MEGA Don Quijote Shibuya and Toys"R"Us Odaiba. Range and stock vary by shop.

Is there anything else for Godzilla fans in Tokyo?

Bandai Spirits' TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Akihabara is running a live-action figure exhibition until 26 October 2026 that includes Godzilla in its S.H.MonsterArts line. Toho also runs pop-up Godzilla shops around Japan from time to time.
