Snoopy Museum Tokyo: How to Get Tickets, What Is On, and What to Know Before You Go

Snoopy Museum Tokyo, at 3-1-4 Tsuruma, Machida, in the Minami-Machida Grandberry Park area, shows Peanuts comic originals and reproductions, with works courtesy of the Charles M. Schulz Museum. Advance tickets are timed and sold on e+ until 20:00 the day before your visit; same-day tickets are sold at the museum only when there is room. Arrive within your time slot, not before it. There is no time limit once inside. Until 28 February 2027 the exhibition is "Siblings are Wonderful", with about 45 originals and reproductions, including 15 originals never shown since they joined the Schulz Museum's collection. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is the day trip I suggest to Snoopy fans.

The museum shop needs a ticket and comes after the exhibition; the café, in the next building, does not.

How do you get Snoopy Museum Tokyo tickets?

Buy an advance ticket on e+, linked from the museum's ticket page, by 20:00 the day before. Same-day tickets are sold at the museum counter only when the museum has space. What is on at Snoopy Museum Tokyo now?

"Siblings are Wonderful", from 5 September 2026 to 28 February 2027, about the brothers and sisters in Peanuts: Charlie Brown and Sally, Lucy, Linus and Rerun, and Snoopy's siblings such as Spike and Olaf. It shows about 45 comic originals and reproductions, including 15 originals on display for the first time since entering the Schulz Museum's collection.

Exhibition (official) Dates
Siblings are Wonderful 5 Sep 2026 – 28 Feb 2027
Café exhibition menu (Halloween items) 5 Sep – 31 Oct 2026
Closed days announced 1 Jan 2027; 16 Feb 2027

The museum also features a different Peanuts character each month; October 2026 is Charlie Brown.

What should you know before you go?

Photos are allowed except for some video exhibits, without flash or tripods. Large bags go to the cloakroom; there are no coin lockers. The shop needs a ticket and is visited after the exhibition, and it may have purchase limits. Payment is by cash, credit card or transport IC card; QR payments are not accepted.

This is the honest section. The museum is built around original comic art, so it rewards Peanuts readers more than casual fans, and the shop can have a queue at busy times. There is no museum car park, so come by train.

Is Snoopy Museum Tokyo worth the trip?

For Peanuts fans, yes: original Schulz artwork, an exhibition that changes about twice a year, a themed café and a shop. It is a half-day trip from central Tokyo.

If you shop tax-free on your trip, from 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport. For Snoopy goods in central Tokyo, Kiddy Land Harajuku's basement Snoopy Town shop and Tokyo Station's Tokyo Character Street are closer options.
