Sailor Moon Store Tokyo: Where It Is in Harajuku, What It Sells, and the Rules Before You Go

The official Sailor Moon store is in Laforet Harajuku, 1-11-6 Jingūmae, on the building's B0.5 floor. It is one minute from exit 5 of Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku) Station on the Tokyo Metro, or five minutes from JR Harajuku Station's Omotesandō gate. It sells store-original goods you will not find in general anime shops, and it turned nine on 23 September 2026. I run private anime tours in Akihabara most weeks, and this is the shop I send Sailor Moon fans to.

The official name is "Sailor Moon store". The official access page lists this Harajuku store plus pop-up corners inside Kiddy Land in Osaka and Nagoya.

Where is the Sailor Moon store in Tokyo?

Inside Laforet Harajuku, the fashion building at 1-11-6 Jingūmae, on floor B0.5. Laforet lists three stations: Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku) exit 5, one minute; JR Harajuku, Omotesandō gate, five minutes; and Omotesandō Station exit A2, seven minutes.

Getting there (Laforet's official access page) Walk
Tokyo Metro Chiyoda or Fukutoshin line, Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku), exit 5 1 min
JR Yamanote line, Harajuku Station, Omotesandō gate 5 min
Tokyo Metro Chiyoda, Hanzōmon or Ginza line, Omotesandō, exit A2 7 min

Harajuku is a fashion district rather than an anime one, so this is a single stop rather than a shopping day. For how Tokyo's anime districts divide up, see which Tokyo district for an anime tour; for the anime day itself, my Akihabara anime tour is built around the series you name.

What can you buy at the Sailor Moon store?

Mostly store-original goods. Recent releases on the official store news include a hard pouch in the store's "BIG Moon Stick" series, birthday goods for Super Sailor Venus and Super Sailor Pluto, Costume Kewpie figures of Minako and Setsuna, and monochrome T-shirts. Plush of Luna and Artemis is scheduled for January 2027.

Recent store news (official, 2026) What it is
21 Sep Hard pouch added to the store-original BIG Moon Stick series
2 Sep Store-original birthday goods: Super Sailor Venus and Super Sailor Pluto
9 Sep Store-original Costume Kewpie: Minako Aino and Setsuna Meiō
7 Aug Store-original monochrome T-shirts
29 Sep Standard plush of Luna and Artemis announced for January 2027

For the ninth anniversary, a new visual went up in Laforet's windows, and goods using it are due later. The store also has an official online shop, Sailor Moon store ONLINE.

Are there purchase limits or entry tickets?

Yes to limits, sometimes to tickets. The store's notes cap store-original items at three of each per transaction, and say other items may be limited too. On days expected to be busy, it may hand out numbered entry tickets; it announces this on its X account, @sailormoonstore. Overnight queuing is banned.

This is the honest section. Store-original goods can sell out, and on ticketed days you may not get in when you planned. If you are coming for a specific new release, check @sailormoonstore the day before. The official pages do not say whether the store offers tax-free; ask at the till. From 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport.

Where else can Sailor Moon fans go in Tokyo?

Toei Animation, which made the anime, runs a small free museum at its studio in Nerima. In Akihabara, the general anime shops carry Sailor Moon figures and goods, new and secondhand, alongside other series.

The Toei Animation Museum covers the studio visit. For secondhand figures, including older Sailor Moon lines, see where to buy anime figures in Akihabara.
