Idolmaster Official Shop Akihabara: Where It Is, the Prize Lotteries, and the Producer Time Clock

The Idolmaster Official Shop in Akihabara is on the 2nd floor of atre Akihabara 1, 1-17-6 Sotokanda, right outside JR Akihabara Station's Electric Town gate. It is Bandai Namco's event shop for The Idolmaster series, centred on the original, Cinderella Girls, Million Live!, SideM, Shiny Colors and Gakuen Idolmaster, with original goods, displays, prize lotteries and a time clock where producers can stamp a visit card. Entry is normally free. I run private anime tours here most weeks, and because it sits right by the station, it fits into any route.

SideM fans have a dedicated shop, 315!!!SHOP, in Ikebukuro's Sunshine City.

Where is the Idolmaster store in Akihabara?

On the 2nd floor of atre Akihabara 1, 1-17-6 Sotokanda, Chiyoda City; the official guide says it is straight out of the JR Electric Town gate. Its closing days follow the atre building's.

What can you do at the Idolmaster Official Shop?

Buy original goods, see displays for the series, try the prize lotteries, and stamp your "time card". The official page describes each shop as having a time recorder where you insert a card to print the date, a record of your "attendance" as a producer.

Recent additions, from 18 September 2026, include 11 new lottery prizes for Million Live! and new idol photo-panel designs for Million Live! and Shiny Colors. The shop does not take holds, reservations or orders, and generally does not post sell-outs.

Do you need a ticket or to queue?

Normally no: the shop runs on free entry and does not form queues before opening. It asks people not to wait from late night or early morning until 30 minutes before opening. When new goods cause crowding, it may form a queue or hand out numbered tickets, sometimes with a random order draw, and during events entry can switch to web reservations. Changes are posted on its X account, @ImasShop_bnam.

This is the honest section. Prize-lottery stock runs out per character, and the official stock page shows some characters already sold out, so if you want a specific idol, check the page before you go. Payment is by cash, credit card, transport IC card, barcode payment or gift card. If you shop tax-free, from 1 November 2026 you pay the tax at the till and get it back after a customs check at the airport.
