COSPA Akihabara: Gee!Store Akiba for Cosplay and Character Apparel, and the atre Shop by the Station

COSPA, the anime character apparel and cosplay brand, has two official shops in Akihabara. Gee!Store Akiba, on the 4th floor of the Onoden Building at 1-2-7 Sotokanda, two minutes from JR Akihabara, carries all three main brands: COSPA character apparel and goods, Nijigen COSPA apparel for bishōjo characters, and COSPATIO cosplay costumes and supplies. The smaller COSPA Official Store atre Akihabara, on the 3rd floor of atre Akihabara 1 by the station gate, carries the apparel brands. Gee!Store Akiba is closed on 5 and 6 October 2026 for stocktaking. I run private anime tours here most weeks, and COSPA is the official shop I suggest for wearable fandom.

Where are the COSPA stores in Akihabara?

Gee!Store Akiba is at Onoden Building 4F, 1-2-7 Sotokanda, two minutes from JR Akihabara Station. COSPA Official Store atre Akihabara is on the 3rd floor of atre Akihabara 1, 1-17-6 Sotokanda, nearest the station's atre 1 gate. COSPA also has an official store in Narita Airport Terminal 1.

What does COSPA sell?

Three brands, according to COSPA's store pages. COSPA is character apparel and goods from anime and games. Nijigen COSPA is apparel and goods featuring bishōjo characters. COSPATIO is cosplay costumes and cosplay supplies, and in Akihabara only Gee!Store Akiba lists it.

Titles on the official site in October 2026 include Gintama, Haikyu!!, Made in Abyss, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Laid-Back Camp; stock varies by store and season.

Is COSPA good for cosplay in Akihabara?

For licensed, ready-made costumes, Gee!Store Akiba is the official option, because it is the Akihabara shop listing COSPATIO costumes and cosplay support. The atre shop does not list cosplay costumes, so go to Gee!Store if that is what you want.

This is the honest section. Licensed costumes cover only the titles COSPA carries, so your character may not be there. Check the online shop for your title first. The official site also warns about fake SNS accounts and counterfeit COSPA goods, so buy from the shops listed on its official store page. When is COSPA Akihabara closed?

Gee!Store Akiba says it has no regular closing day but closes twice a year for stocktaking, such as Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 October 2026; check the store page for the next dates. The atre shop follows atre Akihabara's hours and closures.
